IN DENMARK I WAS BORN?

March the 11th 2017, 12-16
at EUTOPIA Stage

Dramatic writing workshop in cooperation with ATLAS OVER AARHUS

Come and join when ATLAS OVER AARHUS and EUTOPIA 2017 invites you to – literally – a dramatic workshop.

With the title “In Denmark I was born?” this day will both in words and in action challenge the ordinary conceptions about Denmark and what it means to be a Dane.

The workshop is a combination of writing exercises, which will be presented by the author and teacher Louise Juhl Dalsgaard, and readings on the stage with guidance from the director, actress and artistic manager Brigitte Christensen. Brigitte will help your texts become alive in front of an audience. No matter if your dream is to perform or to write this workshop can give you some tools to both.

Everybody can join the workshop, and it is free to participate. If you want to participate you have to write an email to eutopia@aarhus.dk or louise@365tekster.dk. In the mail we will ask you to write a little presentation of yourself. There is a limited number of spaces for the workshop, so sign up as fast as possible, if you are interested.

Louise Juhl Dalsgaard is an author, teacher in creative writing and editor at the project ATALS OVER AARHUS. Louise has published as different things as a short film, the worlds first badge poem collection, many text collections and this year her first novel will be published.

Brigitte Christensen is a theatre- and movie actress, director and artistic manager of EUTOPIA. For several years she has lived in Rome, and she has worked all over Europe.
