EUTOPIA 2017 and the publishing house Lindhardt & Ringhof are happy to present the event Den Nydanske Kvindekamp (The Liberation of Danish Women with Migrant Roots). The event is a collaboration with the four women Geeti Amiri, Natasha Al-Hariri, Khaterah Parwani og Halime Oguz.

The event will bring focus to women between two worlds – Danish women with a minority background and this background not being in opposition to the Danish identity, but a part of it. Being Danish and some more.

Den Nydanske Kvindekamp is a call for action. It is a united movement regardless of cultural background and political position. Den Nydanske Kvindekamp is a universal struggle concerning every woman’s right to live her life exactly as she wishes.

Abdel Aziz Mahmoud will moderate the event of the evening. Abdel visited EUTOPIA Stage in 2016 with a talk about his book ‘Hvor taler du flot dansk’ that received amazing reviews.

”As we stand on the shoulders of the past’s great women who fought bravely for the women’s liberation we would like, for the sake of the future, to strike a blow for migrant women’s liberation. Because Den Nydanske Kvindekamp is not just Natasha, Halime, Khaterah or Geeti. Den Nydanske Kvindekamp is all of us.” – Geeti Amiri, Khaterah Parwani, Natasha Al-Hariri & Halime Oguz.
